You know I didn't quite think of it in that particular way until you mentioned it. If I were in that situation I'd do the same thing -- bring up my hands as a physical barrier -- but that's assuming I'm not wearing a mask. But Rorschach doesn't think of it as a mask, it's his face.
Hm. I still don't think he'd show his human face to Comedian though. He'd maybe insist that the "face" is a no-touch zone, or he'd roll it up so that the ink blots (re:emotions) are distorted, or he would just not want to face the Comedian during sex at all. *shrugs*
