I wish you could hear my happy, contented sigh. The tension and provocation between them (coming from both sides, I think!) lead so deliciously to the smuttiness. Rorschach often antagonizes, doesn’t he, but Dan rarely responds. It’s the fans’ best fantasy to watch that tension inevitably snap...sexually, of course.
Ooo, Dan knows just how to push him around, just the way he needs. The concept of “denial” is so in alignment with Rorschach’s character. Not that I think of him as always making sacrifices, but like you said, he can’t be as asexual as he behaves. …all that warm, damp, naked skin…he’d have to touch it to push you away. How delightfully cruel. You do great work. Much appreciated.
