I've been re-reading the comic, and got completely fascinated by the Rorschach in the Crimebusters meeting - specifically his relaxed, hands-in-pockets pose. And use of pronouns, and what all. Hence, fic, combining my what-ifs about pre-Roche Rorschach with pr0n :)

Blake kind of reminds me of blue-collar guys of my dad's generation - that dead blunt way of operating and tendency to need a certain level of control in interactions. They'll converse like it's sparring, and since you think of them as simple id-creatures it doesn't occur to you they've sussed you out until they've happily laid some devastating critique on you, all gotcha! With only the best of intentions of course :)
